SCME185  Ymateb gan:  | Response from: Nigel Hammond

I have no objections to my views or name being published about this matter and anything I say is not confidential.

With reference to the above review I strongly object for the following reasons.

The Senedd in its current format was voted on in a referendum by the people of Wales and any major change that is listed in this bill should be presented to the people by the way of a referendum otherwise I believe the Senedd are bringing themselves into disrepute to the electorate.

I also object on the grounds that the Senedd is already suffering a large financial deficit and everything should be done to mitigate any increased costs .

The new voting system appears to be designed to give one party a majority and virtually unassailable position within the Senedd which is again undemocratic .

For the above reasons I implore you to take my opinions very seriously .

Yours Sincerely

Nigel Hammond
